The Sudanese Canadian Association of Ottawa (SCAO) is a registered non‑profit organization (Corporations Canada #424342‑1‑M), established as a dynamic and inclusive hub for the Sudanese diaspora and friends of Sudan in Canada’s capital
We are dedicated to serving and uniting Sudanese individuals, their families, newcomers including immigrants and refugees, and students residing in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Our membership is open, reflecting the rich diversity of Sudan itself

To forge strong bonds among Sudanese Canadians and all Ottawa residents by providing culturally‑sensitive support services, vital resources, and pathways for mutual growth and understanding.
